LOCATIONS
I want your session to fit your family's personality. Here is a list of locations I commonly use, but it is not exclusive by any means.
There are a couple things to keep in mind when trying to decide where you would like your family's session to take place. The feel- Do you like urban or natural? The time of day- Some locations are great for both morning and evening while some others only work for evening sessions. The season- every location will look a little different depending on the time of year. See the photo below. I've also included a few other examples of this in the locations.

Morning or evening: either
Highlights: areas of short and long grass, gravel pathways, open field, and tree covered paths, small garden area, access to lake with entry fee
Location #2-
General location: Roanoke
Morning or evening: both, mornings will have less cars and people in the background
Highlights: cute urban area with a variety of different walls, arches, corrugated metal, steps, and porches

Highlights: large open field with tall grass, some wildflowers in spring and summer, tree covered paths

Highlights: modern urban area with canal. Not best for toddlers as there are many stairs and no railing by water

Highlights: both areas of long grass and a small native garden. Large blue barn

Rent a studio for a fee, about $100 depending on the studio. There are several available in the area including Bedford, downtown Fort Worth, Denton, and Dallas.
Morning or evening: any time of the day
Highlights: very neutral (mostly white) studios with a few different couch and chair options. Some have some colored or window wall options.

Stay comfy at your home or in your yard!
Morning or evening: either. We can even shoot mid-day inside the home.
