Ask any photographer about photographing children ages 18 months to 3 years. Some love it, some hate it. You never know what you're going to get! It's something I definitely love about my job. All the kids are so different. Some will sit and say cheese, yes. Others, not so much! But the best thing about that age is that they're cute pretty much no matter what they're doing! I love the action shots and the interaction shots. My favorites are always the images where mom or dad are looking at the kids rather than the camera. Do I always get photos of the family and the kids looking at the camera? Of course! I know grandma wants that perfect picture of everyone looking at the camera. But man do I love those shots of the parents just kissing and loving on those kids!
